PONY EXPRESS MAUKA RIDE DIRECTIONS

RIDER REQUIREMENTS: To review, we asked that you be 10 years and over, under 65 years of age (unless approved by Doug!); weight limit is 235#, and no pregnant riders.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy; 48 hours for groups of 3 or more; 72 hours for 6 or more). There is a 10% administrative fee charged for rides cancelled.

WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear long pants like jeans, closed toe shoes like sneakers, sweatshirt, and sunscreen. We provide raingear as this is an outdoor adventure at an elevation and clouds, sprinkles, and wind may come and go!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Check in time is 1:30 PM at the Pony Express Ranch Office. Please leave at 12:15 PM from the West side (Lahaina side) and South Side (Kihei side).

From the West Side/Lahaina Side: Leave at 12:15 PM and head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 7 miles and depending on the day of the week, you will automatically be led into 377 due to morning traffic cones or you will turn left on 377. Continue 5.5 miles on hwy 377 until hwy 378 and turn left. Go 2.5 miles up 378, on the left hand side there is a red building that says Pony Express and that is the Ranch Office!

From South Maui/Kihei side: Leave at 12:15 PM and head back to the main airport on hwy 311, turn right on 380 by the church, right on 36 by K-Mart, right on 37; go up 7 miles and you will be led into 377 or you turn left on 377; go 5.5 miles on 377 to 378 turn left; go 2.5 miles up 378 and on the left is the red building that says Pony Express!
